The day of my college graduation, my father proudly joked that his daughter now had a more useless degree (Music/French) than his (English). Being drawn to the arts my entire life, and being taught to follow my passions, I quickly learned that artists and arts organizations need strategic business thinkers like myself to help them succeed.
With my M.A. in Arts Administration in hand, I moved to Seattle to change the world. My career has included multi-million dollar budgets at Microsoft and no-budget arts events. Musicals, symphonies, technology, trade shows, anti-piracy, and breadth marketing. I like diversity.
I’m a professional marketer with 12+ years experience in both corporate and not-for-profit settings. I believe both sides of that coin can learn from each other and I bring that business-like, yet creative thinking to all I do. My LinkedIn profile has all the scoop.
Currently, I am a part-time vendor and part-time marketing consultant. I occasionally take pro-bono work.
I continue voice lessons, sing as loudly and as often as possible, and dabble in poetry.
